Hello everyone-
We have learned a lot about the preferences of the player base over the
past couple of days. There is a need for getting rules clarifications via
email, and this list does as much to help as it does to hurt. As a result,
we are going to be creating a new position with twin duties. Primarily, the
AAMST Community will be tasked with reducing the confusion that results
when questions are asked by earnest players.
The AAMST Community will be the moderator of this list. They will allow
questions to be asked for everyone's benefit. However, they will only allow
responses that supply sufficient citations to support their assertions. It
means we won't have any more posts to this list with the phrase "I don't
have the books in front of me," or, "I forget what page it is on, but," et
cetera.
In addition, I want to thank all of you for sending me your proposals to
change the addendum. While I didn't submit all of the proposals for
consideration, I did start just over 50 threads yesterday with individual
changes to the addendum. Most of these changes are designed to clean up the
text of the addendum, but most are rules changes that were asked for by all
of you. We want the players to have an active hand in crafting the game. As
a result, it will be the job of the AAMST Community to be the PoC for the
office. If you want a rules change, float it by the AAMST Community. If you
have a fight club scenario to propose, and yes, we have already received
several, send it to the AAMST Community. If you want to propose changes to
the AMST OWoD Rules office, the AAMST Community will be tasked with
bringing those concerns to my attention.
As a result, the ideal candidate will be very good with email, will be a
sublime communicator, and have an active desire to see players and STs come
together and make something better for themselves.
Applications are due by 11:59 PM on May 10, US Eastern Time. Feel free to
forward to your local lists, and remember the due date for applications for
the AAMST Fight Club is the 7th.
