Good Evening,
In the past the AMST Masquerade has handled the development,
management, and revision of the Masquerade Addendum. This has served
the chronicle well in the past. Moving forward, however, I believe
that we can better serve the chronicle, and the players within it, by
empowering an AMST OWoD Rules to directly handle the mechanical
aspects of the Masquerade chronicle.
The AMST OWoD Rules position is responsible for the mechanical aspects
of the OWoD, including:
*Maintaining and updating the Masquerade Addendum and associated documents.
*Providing guidence to STs of all levels in regards to "gray areas"
*Providing feedback in the Approvals Database
*Advising STs on how to properly leverage mechanics as part of a story
*Building concensus with national officers as pertains to the Addendum
*Coordinating with national officers as pertains to the Addendum
*Assisting players and STs as needed
Requirements for the positions include:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Masquerade rules set
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable email and 48hr response turnaround
- Ability to work with members and Storytellers at all levels of the
organization
- Understanding of how to administrate and manage others
- Strong communication skills
The hiring process will consist of two stages. The first step is the
basic application, which should be sent to myself (Jesse Robbins) (mst
at mst-office.net) and my Chief of Staff Kevin Millard (amst.chief at
mst-office.net) by 11:59 GMT, April 2nd, and should include the
following:
*Name, Cam #, contact info
*Coordinator & local ST contact info
*Vision statement (How the rules interact with the story and the place
of the Global office within that framework)
*Camarilla and relevant real life resume
*Three to five references (excluding NSTs, or Global officers, as
these will be asked for feedback separately)
*List of any disciplinary actions received in the last 2 years
All applications will be reviewed and may be discussed by global staff.
The second stage involves follow up questions and, if applicable, a
phone interview for those individuals whose applications place them on
the "short list". From this “short list” I will hire the member I
feel is best for the position. All other applicants will be informed
of my decision prior to the public announcement.
