As reported in The Free Times;
"Stop, in the Name of Anarchy, and the Three-Eyed Wolf!"
Graffiti is a fact of urban life. We cannot drive underneath an overpass without seeing a drunken teenager's testimonial of love, or the turf signs of several competing neighborhood associations, rendered in the finest industrial aerosol. Recently, however, Greenville's urban art has taken a turn towards the surreal. Many of the stop signs and government buildings in our city have been decorated with a stylized depiction of a three-eyed wolf, and the slashing, angry lines of an Anarchist A. The Greenville Police are uncharacteristically silent on the issue, offering only 'No comment' in reply to our repeated requests for information. Hugh Bosby, a former police officer and self-proclaimed expert in gang tagging, stated "I ain't never seen this from no gang. Looks like commie propaganda, if you ask me." Unfortunately, we did ask him, and felt obliged to share his response as widely as our distribution will allow, as we find it hilarious.
