Local Ghost-hunting Club Investigates Haunted Hospital Rumors.
As reported by the Free News
At the old Allen Bennet Memorial Hospital building on Highway 29, a new type of 'science' is being pursued- paranormal studies. The Indendent Ghost Hunter's Association of Greenville, or IGHAG, has received permission for several overnight 'studies' of the supposedly haunted hospital. Violet Pennywaist, vice president of IGHAG, expressed mixed emotions at the news. "We weren't sure that the City would let us stay overnight in the site. While the rumours haven't been trending towards aggressive psychoactive phenomena, we're all a little nervous. Terrified. Terrified and nervous and excited. "
Ever since the main hospital moved locations some years back, rumours have swirled among the doctors who rent space in the building. Swirling, insubstantial images, people walking into and through walls, patients in hospital gowns disappearing halfway down a set of staircases... these are some of the stories emerging from this local haunted hot spot. While still being suppressed by the main stream media, these rumors have been circulating ever since the hospital's partial decommissioning. It took pressure from a local doctor's group to get permission for IGHAG's "scientific exploration of reportal paranormal activity"; whispers of bribery and coercion are, as of the time of printing, completely unsubstatiated.
